Tofia Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the rules for creating an account, joining the beta, and using Tofia's app, Chrome extension, and web services. By using Tofia, you agree to these terms.
You are responsible for how you use Tofia, for complying with applicable laws and workplace rules, and for reviewing any AI-assisted output before relying on it.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be able to enter into these terms and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account.
Tofia may require you to sign in with a supported identity provider, such as Google. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access if we believe an account is being misused or violates these terms.
2. Private Beta Access
Some Tofia features are offered as a private beta. Beta features may be incomplete, change without notice, include usage limits, or be unavailable from time to time. We may add, remove, or adjust beta access, quotas, supported features, and eligibility at our discretion.
Please do not rely on beta features for high-risk, emergency, legal, medical, financial, or other critical decisions.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Tofia to:
- Violate laws, regulations, third-party rights, or workplace policies.
- Upload or process content you do not have permission to use.
- Capture, transcribe, translate, or share meeting audio or browser meeting content where you do not have the right or required consent to do so.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or abuse Tofia systems.
- Share access credentials, bypass usage limits, or resell beta access without permission.
- Generate or distribute harmful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive content.
4. Your Content and Feedback
You keep ownership of content you submit to Tofia, including meeting audio, transcripts, prompts, browser meeting tab audio, optional microphone audio, meeting titles, documents, practice scenarios, and feedback. You grant Tofia the rights needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service for you.
If you use Tofia in meetings, calls, classes, or workplace settings, you are responsible for following applicable notice, consent, recording, confidentiality, and workplace rules.
If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation, but we are not required to implement them.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect data. By using Tofia, you also agree to the practices described in that policy.
6. Service Availability and Changes
Tofia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the service at any time. We do not guarantee that Tofia will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, meeting app, browser, or workflow.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Tofia uses automated systems and AI-assisted features. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tofia and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.
8. Termination
You may stop using Tofia at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we discontinue the beta or product.
